The Left Turn Poem by Mogare Nyamoko

The Left Turn

In a straight line like ants the soldiers match,
Finger ready anchored to the trigger
Ready to shoot the enemy
Then boom! Fire ahead.

Left turn, the commander voice echoes
On the bloody valley full of skulls and skeletons.
To the left, everything will be fine
The commander hopes.
But straight to the trap they walk unaware.
Tu! Tu! Tu! Lifeless bodies falls,
Epics for future era.

On the bloody valley full of skulls and skeletons
Where death befriends man,
Whether you turn right or left
Death awaits
But a soldier can't give up
Finger on the trigger
Tu! Tu! Tu! Lifeless bodies falls
More lifeless bodies on the enemy side,
A win to the other side-human though.
