The Life Of A Twin Poem by Joe Michael

The Life Of A Twin

Nothing but chaos
And truly insane
My life is filled daily
With terror and pain

Often I wonder
Just how it may be
Living my life,
Similarly

To those that I witness
Whose life is a breeze
Never needing to plead
'Move over please'

Competing for everything
Even just to be heard
Sharing all of my birthdays
It's truly absurd

The headaches are constant
One after another
The price that I pay
To be a twin brother

Living at home
Like the center of a twister
This is my life
Because of my twin sister
