You're sitting alone by the river,
calmly flowing to you from afar.
Catch the silence, break it to shivers,
make your wish on a shooting star.
When the twilight is getting thicker
and the sun has fallen behind the hills,
Then your heart starts to pound quicker and quicker,
and you know so well how it feels…
how it feels…

You'd like to follow
a faintest spark,
‘cause life is long
and much too dark.
Above the hollow,
above the clouds
you launch your song
and chase your doubts
away…
chase'em away,
away…
chase'em away.

It's not easy to walk on the water.
It's not easy to fly in the sky.
And the World is rather a theatre -
play your role and dare not lie!
Endless night till the sun is rising.
Although hope is good, still you need a plan.
Dreams come true no faster, than you grow wiser,
And no sooner, than you have done
all you can.

Our life is just like the river,
running farther and never back,
and you must be a true believer,
if you trust in your volatile luck.
Ripples, trembling upon the surface,
make your destiny blurred and conceal the stars,
but the voice of your heart - here it is at your service.
Touch the string, sing your song for us!
