The Light Poem by Flourette Immanuel

The Light

A bird drifts away through the sky
Where the air resonate a tormenting cry
A hymn of tears is all around
Oh how her feathers start to fall off the ground
Her skin starts to look so bare
As she struggles to flap her wings in despair

In a distant suddenly emerge a ray of light
That touches the bird right at her heart
With the remnant spirit she rise again
Clinging to the light, against all doubts and pains
As she draws closer to the source of the light
And the others become a secondary sight
She finally finds the cure of her wounds
And get her life back in tunes.
