A faint Light trickles in
Oh, so unexpected
For in this drab and dreary inn
The dark has been collected
The Light reaches out a hand to me
The brightness so inviting
But if my inmates were to see
I would not be here writing
The Light is their enemy-
The one thing they hate most
Even though the dark endlessly
About killing it boasts
It'll draw them in with false needs
Faux truths and empty hope
Leaving them with vicious greed
That will have them completely doped
But I am no longer a coward
I have seen the Light
The truth and the power
I will do anything to reunite
Despite knowing the persecution
That it might bring
For I've had enough of this evil pollution
And am ready to let my salvation ring
The Light- The Christ- has saved me from this wicked thing
OUR GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD!
