The Little Child Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The Little Child

Rating: 5.0

In the pleasant afternoon
The children were playing
In the green field,
Suddenly the insane vagabond came there
Wearing a tattered cloth,
Seeing him all the children fled,
They were terribly afraid,
Only the little child remained,
He proceeded towards the the vagabond
With a smiling face,
The lunatic vagabond also smiled at him like a child
And tried to convince the loving child something
With his peculiar gesture,
This way they behaved like good friends,
I saw them from the remote corner
With great joy and pleasure.
