The Loch Ness Monster

Fae the water it appear'd
Three big humps an wan Green ear
Glidin alang wae it's heid in the air
Fearin naeb'dy staunin there.

They awe staun an stair wae fricht
At see'in sic an away sicht
The folk could'ny bare tae stay
An so they awe ran up the brae

As it made it's monstris turn
It gar'd the water foam an churn
He hud the loch fur his very ane
As if he wis, king, on a thrane.
