The Lord Has My Back

You can say all you want in my absence,
While you are away from my existence,
The Almighty Lord is watching my back.
No words can hurt me, no bullets can crack
My soft and delicate skin and my muscular body.
I am the faithful Son of the Almighty.

You can say all you want behind my back,
Foment and build all sorts of conspiracies and plots,
The Lord is watching over me, and protects my track.
You cannot destroy me; you are afraid of the facts.
I am the loving Son of the Almighty God.
He is with me all the time, and I am glad.

No lies can hurt me, no bullets can crack
My soft and delicate skin and my muscular body.
I am the faithful Son of the Almighty.
You can say all you want behind my back,
You cannot destroy me; you are afraid of the facts.
God is powerful; He will protect me from all deadly rocks.
