The Lost Dream Poem by Angel Joseph

Looking and searching wanting to be astonished,
to minimize the fog on the future of a child left
banished.
Trying to believe what others have doubted,
to avoid critism and mend the heart that he always aided.
All this to him has been a waking dream wish fulfillment,
No one but God by his side to build an atonement.
All he has been doing is living a lie,
no friends or anyone to be his ally.

It is difficult for him to take the path not taken,
his eyes are closed but yet within awaken.
He knows that it is time to find the lost,
fighting not to lose or forget at any cost.
