There was something different that day,
About the way the wind blew;
It lost all sense of directions,
The moment I saw you...
It was the same old sky,
revealing the same old sun.
But the gold was warmer,
And this warmth was new.
It embraced my vision,
yet I could see so clearly;
I knew it was melting,
The moment I saw you...
The clouds from heaven,
Were raining upon earth.
No longer in control, of my senses,
I could but still feel that dew;
Falling just for me, all for me,
Engulfing my pain, all of me,
But there was none of it,
The moment I saw you...
The birds took off with joy,
But it was I who flew,
Everything just felt so nice,
The moment I saw you...
How I wish I could tell,
What happened to me, in those moments so few;
If only the bullet had missed my heart,
The moment I saw you...
There was something different that day,
About the way the wind blew;
And with it was lost that moment,
The very moment I saw you...
