The Luminous Poem by Mona Goldword

The Luminous

Rating: 5.0

behold him in the sky
among the stars
out of reach
so high
shines like a pearl in an ocean of stars
lights up the darkness
and fills the emptiness

eclipses once
and mostly shines
Ah! his light
it clears the horizons
it calms the fires
it reaches the hearts
satisfies the lovers.

he has the narratives of all the amorouses
but none of them know his own.

he's the friend in the lonliness
the soul of the poets
the quieting in the fear
the passion of the hearts

behold him in the sky
like the king among the stars
he's beautiful, he's glamorous
he's the moon, the luminous.
