Deep in the Enchanted Wood, there is a tree
With magic in its leaves. Its branches reach
High into the clouds: gateways to strange lands.
Adventures, only children understand,
Lie there; where everything appears absurd
To conventional eyes and minds. Spellbound
By the Sauce Pan Man, Moon-Face, and the fairy:
Silky, Joe, Bessie and Frannie spent many
Sweet summers there; exploring thrilling worlds,
That are the stuff of dreams, and not mere words.
