The Making Of A Constitution Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Making Of A Constitution

Rating: 5.0

The constitution too is made
After going through
Resolutions resolved
By the house
As per resolutions drafted,
Resolved to be taken
And to be confirmed in
The next meeting.

The constitution is made
Following the older conventions,
As per nomenclature and protocol
But should be of a wider horizon,
All encompassing,
With information collected and gathered,
Experience tendered to.

Tight into the footsteps of judgement,
Divine Judgement
Full of knowledge and wisdom,
With the desire to deliver
Without being prejudices, biased and hypocritical
Invoking the Almighty,
The Goddess of Justice,
The Mercy, Inclemency Divine.

But a constitution is made basing on
Rights and duties, society and its framework,
Drawing from history, political science,
Moral science, polity, law and justice,
Human rights, policy making,
Society, art and culture
And jurisprudence
And together with taking conscience
Into sole undertaking.
