The Man From Calle Alemann Poem by Cody Klinker

The Man From Calle Alemann

People always say they see the man around. On
Street corners, in restaurants, in schools across the state.
Just under six feet tall with an ego that could
Make his head grow another foot. Credit due, though,
For this man knew what he was talking about
Most of the time.

People saw the silly side of the sibling of two that lived
On Calle Alemann. Some were offended, some intrigued,
Some did not know what it was like to be him,
But the man did, and he like being him.
