There was movement at the station, for the word had passed around
That the colt from old Regret had got away,
And had joined the wild bush horses - he was worth a thousand pound,

Magic tale only can be written by a horseman...the man Clancy lives in every saddle
upon every Ozzie horse an'every Ozzie when tasked to do will ride the rugged course, regards Dear Banjo as you ride in heaven's sky (Report) Reply

I must confess, that until just the other day; I had never heard the name of A. B.
Banjo Paterson . I heard it in relation to my name in a somewhat derogatory
manner. It was used as if to write as Banjo Paterson was an insult. So today,
I happened to come across this great poem. I want to say without reservation.
That I am greatly honored to have my name associated with his. May it ever be
so. I will do my best to meet his great standard as one of the greatest poets of
    the age.
