The Masquerade Has Ended Poem by Kriztan Rei Palces

The Masquerade Has Ended

Fear me not, I do not bite
I’m a jester in this warrior’s might
A half-baked poet in disguise
For I am more than meets your eyes

Charmed by voices that calm the seas
Stunned by faces, as pretty as she
Wounded more by words than steel
I wish numbness is all I’ll ever feel

There are few words that my mouth leak
For silence is the language I speak
Math is my life, music is my passion
Loving both seems to be a great decision

Thinking is the only freedom I got
And dreaming, I do that a lot
And if I were to choose a lifetime to spend
I’ll spend mine loving you till the end.
