The Misunderstanding



When I was a kid
I was sure that you said
of a man with unlimited skies
was awarded a gift
for some talent he had
and was given a 'pulit surprise'.

for many years after he won his, Herb Caen referred to his as 'the Pullet Surprise...' something to do with chickens?

This is so humerous Margaret, I suppose this isn't the only 'misunderstanding' on the books! ! I'll always remember the pullit surprise!
