The Multiple World Poem by Nanashino Ryu

The Multiple World

Rating: 5.0

Some Hindoo say that,
a human is the microcosm,
and it's a reduction version of the macrocosm.

If that is right, an occurring in the macrocosm
may be happening in our bodies.
An occurring in our bodies
may be happening at somewhere in the macrocosm.

Some Chinese say that,
the human internal organs correspond to five natures.
If that is right, we may be able to assume about it.

When electricity increases,
the heart may lose the rhythm of beating.

When water becomes dirty,
the water in the kidneys may become impure.

When trees decrease,
the function of the liver may become weakening.

When air is polluted,
the oxygen in the lungs may become foul.

When soil is contaminated,
the stomach may get ill.

Whenever the living environment changes,
the internal environment also changes.
And, when one species becomes extinct at some place,
a part of body also may be lost the function.

The change of the body changes the mind,
and it affects to the end of the universe.

Environmental destruction, abnormal weather,
extinction of animals……
Those words stick in my heart.

Those are not the problems of only our outside,
those are the problems of our inside.

Those are the decline of our physical ability.
Those are the decline of our immune strength.
Those are also loss of our happiness.
Those are also internal contamination.

The modern people seem to have become sick person,
even making an effort.
Will the people after one thousand years
call us civilized people with respect?

However, I saw something wonderful
in the middle of big city today.
It was a heartwarming moment.
It did stirring my soul intensely.

The thing which happened outside of me,
would also have happened inside of me.
The thing which happened inside of me,
would also have happened inside of someone surely.

I believe, it is a hope which never lose the shining
until the very end, when everything is stricken.
