The Musicians Hall Of Fame Poem by Luke Easter

The Musicians Hall Of Fame

When you hear, The Musicians Hall of Fame, what do you think?
For me it signifies the straw that stirs the drink,
Can you have a play room without any toys?
Sands of California brought about The Beach Boys.

Known for their rock ‘n' roll and smooth harmony,
It wouldn't have been noticed if the band didn't play in key,
Beat It, by Michael Jackson on the turntable it was playin,
But the talk of the town was the solo by Eddie Van Halen.

Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones and his infamous riffs,
From your dream mate do you want a handshake or a kiss?
Aerosmith came out with the smash hit, Walk This Way,
Before the lyrics master guitarist Joe Perry would play.

My favorite song by the Beatles, Till There Was You,
That guitar solo by George Harrison is what drew,
A picture in my mind so clear through and through,
To eradicate any clouds from the Mountain Dew.

Nat King Cole tickling the ivories on, Route 66,
1979's, Babe from the Cornerstone album by Styx,
Stevie Ray, Jimi, B.B. & Albert just to name a few,
It seems like every year there is always someone new.

Daniel Donato and his telecaster look and see,
From the land down under they have Toby Lee,
Helen Ibe (ebay) from Africa also very far away,
Joe Chambers you are going to have a lot to say.

Unfortunately there's not enough room to list all the names,
A Premier Nashville location honoring the path to fame,
Spell binding exhibits you can't experience all in one day,
Planning your trip be sure there's plenty of time to stay.
