The Mystic Noon Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Mystic Noon

The Mystic Noon
Going with the dog
Panting behind him.

The Master with the dog
Following into the footsteps
The attendant.

Passing through the secluded places,
Solitary landscapes
Taking the test of the sadhakas.

Into their huts so.lost in sadhna
The sadhakas
Away from human haunts.

But the Master going
And the panting dog following
The Mystical master.

With the three ash-lines
And a red tikka on the forehead
Making him more mysterious and supernatural.
