The New York Poem by dileep kumar

The New York

They kidnapped my lover.
I remember her
Between the war and love
It was my first love in the wilderness.

There is a hunger in this wilderness
I need an answer to my question,
Why did they kidnap Elizabeth?
Why did they choose Elizabeth?
Who are my enemies?

The enemy of my enemy
Is my great enemy,
In the spring of 2014 I returned to New York.

The New York, the city with everything,
I find him brutally stupid.
How at last I found my enemy?
I caught my girlfriend cheating on me,
All the world's a stage.
