The Nothingness Of Nothing Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

The Nothingness Of Nothing

Rating: 5.0

Prolonged agonies of heart and mind:

Induced and self-induced,

Perturbing the Present:

Sacrificing its virginity

Upon the altar of Past—

Condemning the Future.

In the end—a striking realisation:

The torture of nothing,

And the nothingness of all!

Sacrificing its virginity Upon the altar of Past Wow! What a marvellous couple of lines. I sometimes think my consciousness is mere illusion and that beneath it there is a void. Your poem will make me think for many days to come. It is one of your best and that's saying something. Tom Billsborough
