The Ocean Rose
and Danced With Me …
Upon A Rock
and Song of Sea …
Water Waved, Splashed
Like A Trumpet Blast
And Liquid Cymbals
Lifted, Glittered, Clashed
The High Surf Swelled
Like Overture Of William Tell
From Deep Baritone Well
Rows of Ripples Hailed
…They Shook Like Frothy Buoy Bells
As Sand Swirled and Fell
Shoreline Drummed and Quelled
The Riot Crescendo of Tidal Yells
There Were Seagull Sopranos
And Pearl Shell Echoes
All Scaling: Do – Re - Me
Fa – So – La – Ti – Do’s
Sun Rays Played Piano
I Should Have Brought Oboe
Instead I Dove Solo
Seeking Dolphins and Rainbow
… and Just Then
Within Coastland Wind
An Aqua – Violin
Sea Breeze Begins …
A Waltz of Sailboats
Clouds and Seaweeds
As The Ocean Rose
… and Danced With Me …
