The One Poem by Jonathan De Vocht

The One

Rating: 4.0

From a shooting star egressing heaven's stay,
seldomly an angel falls onto this earth.
Once, one came, and so divine in her own way.
I did saw her eyes, it was like my rebirth.

Her beauty, like a rose, never to perish.
An enchanting love to reach my ocean's shore,
with her smile to be with me; it was my wish.
This precious feeling, no-one could value more.

No wind can get this wave right into my heart,
or get me to this dream, i can move onto.
Who could? even when sometimes so far apart?
From all these angels, it was you; only you.
