The One That Doesn'T Rhyme Poem by Macy Fawenden

The One That Doesn'T Rhyme

Tra-la-la...isn't music great to hum to?
Maybe classical, maybe jazz, even funk would do tonight
I wait for tomorrow.
The view we'll get after that long green trek
And a waterfall walk
Then we go home
Relaxing alone together
The smoothest kiss we'll ever share
Maybe a summertime surprise
I'm sorry but in my eyes
A poem that doesn't rhyme
Is just a mish-mash
Not exactly trash
Now I've got to dash. See you.
