The One Who Has Little Poem by Francis Duggan

The One Who Has Little

The one who has little will tell you life's fine
He still drinks his liquor though the cheapest of wine
But to his taste buds it does seem quite okay
Life is what you make of it as some are known to say.

With little in life for to lose and as little to gain
The one who has little you won't hear complain
Of the economic depression or the stock market share fall
To him such things are not important at all.

Without political views his feelings to express
On what political party runs the Country he couldn't care less
Right wingers and left wingers to him all the same
Even the President or the Prime Minister he could not even name.

His bank account zero but his worries are small
And he does seem happy enough overall
And with little to gain and as little to lose
He will tell you for us Karma our life's destiny choose.
