The Other Half



Half of the sea shell is beneath the ocean
Lost within its darkness and arctic dances
While the other half is stranded on the shore
Hoping effortlessly for futile chances
This is my unending heartless melancholy
This is the life I am enduring into
When half of my heart is torn asunder
And the other half, is lost with you
