The Overwhelming Life Poem by Steve Que

The Overwhelming Life

Life comes at an extraordinary pace
As fast as a race of stallions during the best times
But the clock nearly freezes dead in its tracks during the abhorrent and unpleasant

Maybe we should just accept what is given by God
That we can’t change what has already came and gone
We can’t take back that vulgar laughter
Can’t say those words that so eagerly awaited the ears of another
If a second sooner could they have been lovers?

Life is truly difficult because it is a mystery to us all

For this is why some live life in the present for the future is never certain
Whilst this overwhelming life never ceases to amaze
Never ceases to repugnant
Never ceases to gratify
Life is a mystery; for none have solved this perplexer of a riddle
God gave us only some of the answers
But it is for certain
For many reasons we question and praise
This Overwhelming Life

A reflective poem that shows a kind heart. There are many things, unfortunately, we cant take back or or live over, we must simply pick up, dust off and keep on trucking :) Very well done Steve thank you for sharing :)
