The Pain I Caused You Poem by AP Johnson

The Pain I Caused You

Rating: 5.0

As I look down below, I see all the pain I cause you.
To my parents, I'm sorry For the lies. I'm sorry For the drugs,
For my actions, For my unholy desire, and For my selfishness.
The quick release was much more easier than to conquer IT.
To my brother, thank you For always being there.
For making me laugh, For helping me with my homework,
And thank you For playing our stupid little games.
Depression, Anxiety, Stress; any little bother started to buildup.
And to my love of my life, I'm sorry For taking mine.
I'm sorry For leaving you all alone, For the fights,
For making myself bleed, but I'm sorry for not being transparent.
The most important decision of my life, and I wasted it in a flash.
Everyone, I'm sorry for not telling you that I was hurting.
I should have told all of you. To all the people I hurt… I'm sorry.
Signed, me.

Deep feelings of anguish nicely expressed with clarity of thought and mind. A heartfelt rendition. Thanks for sharing Johnson.
