The tears I refuse to cry,
The emotions I always sigh,
The love I never knew,
All revolve around you.

You never once see,
The pain inside me.
The resolve that crashes down,
Is the thing that makes me drown.

Will you please start to care?
Bring some love to a world that is bare?
Love me with all your heart,
Before my world falls apart.

All I’m asking…
Is for some de-masking.
For you to see,
The wound you left in me.

But you’ve shown me,
Just how blind you can be.
Though I try and try,
To let you see through my ever growing lie.

You still don’t get it I see,
There’s not much left of me…
Will you really let me die?
Shrouded in this lie?

And you will never see,
The pain you left inside me.
