The Pain Of Your Silence Poem by Mickel Ballah

The Pain Of Your Silence

The bitter taste of your silence
lingers on my tongue.
A second longer without your love I cannot go
Goes to show
These tears flow for you my love.
Catch me as I fall with your kiss
Why is your embrace hidden from me?
Hath not my words brought you joy
and my strength, meat and wine?
Nevertheless, I await your calming wind
and warm sunshine.
A drizzle of your love
to wet my tongue
and take away the pain
of your silence
