The Parsi Story, The History of India

I haven't heard the Parsi story,
Will somebody tell me?
Who the Parsis,
How much are they,
Where did they come from,
Where are they,
How their myths and mysticism,
Faith and rituals?

The Bene Israelis

Who the Bene Israelis,
How were their forefathers, ancestors
Who came to India
And from where,
How did they settle in?

History of India

They work under heat and dust,
Bearing the brunt of hot summer days
Perspiring and scorching
When the heat falls
Under broad daylight
Sweating and working,
When the sun is but a fireball,
Blazes it hot
When the hot wind does the rounds,
Putting their hard labour and efforts
In getting a house built,
A mansion or a multi complex
Standing dangerously,
Talking the skies
But in course of time
Forget we
Who built them,
Who constructed them?

Say,
Say you,
What do they get from
Giving their time,
Labour and skill?

Sunset

The sun setting
With the red disc
Glowing
In the sky.

The Lotus

Petals
Opening it
With the morning,
Dew drop-splashed petals
And the sun rays dancing over.

The Midnight Theatre Hall

It' s midnight,
The audience is not
Sitting
In the gallery,
But you the drunk artistes
Keeping late into the night,
Turning life into a drama of some sort!

A Bottle Man

What did you,
A bottle man?
Yes, a bottle man,
Means he keeps emptying
Bottle after bottle.
