The Passion Poem by Tom Billsborough

The Passion

Rating: 2.8

Virgin dressed in crinoline
Virgin of the Solitude
Opened as an immense tulip.
In your ship of lights
You sail through the city's high tide,
Among the singing of ballads
And the crystal stars.
Virgin dressed in crinoline,
You sweep through the street's river
And down to the sea!

Love Lorca's. Tried to render it in English as closely as I could to the original Spanish. Tom
