The Passion And The Heartache Poem by Kenny Lamb

The Passion And The Heartache

My heart is awake,
My eyes are asleep,
My heart begins to ache,
This is the beginning of the Heartache,
The ending of the losses,
The end of this road,
I see a light in the distance,
What must it be?
Why must it be this way?
Why do I stray?

My heart is awake unguided with faith,
Aimed for one goal,
Set on one road,
My heart is alive,
My heart is still beating,
Haunted by passion it is only a dream,
I awake from my slumber to find it was real,
Depression is real,
And so are you,
My heart has now stopped,
My eyes are now closed,

I can feel those soft lips they feel ever so cold,
It starts with a journey and ends on a road,
Which road we may end on I may not know,
One thing is for certain I know how it goes,
I know how it ends,
It ends on this road,

I have found you,
Another day lived is another day lost,
My heart is awake,
Still but barely beating,
Burning for love,
Burning for passion,
Feeding my veins,
Breathing for you,

It ends on this road,
It ends with a single kiss,
That says I love you,
