The Past Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Past

Rating: 5.0

Today,
I don't want to remember
The burning embers,
Of my past, of my life,
Remembering is very painful,
Because emptiness ensues,
And loneliness brews,
Open wounds that stay alive
For the rest of your life.

It is incredible to look back and see all that you have survived. That is an achievement! ! ! ! Beautiful words Sandra.
