The Path Of Life. Poem by Glenn Ford

The Path Of Life.

Rating: 5.0

The roads I have taken through years now gone
Followed well beaten paths and kept moving on
Some right, and some wrong, I never looked back
I headed forward on the precarious track

The furrowed old lanes forking left and then right
Pausing at each but no answers in sight
Is it hope that I seek or a utopian dream?
A world of goodness with hatred unseen

Over time I have found, looking back in hindsight
The paths were not wrong and the paths were not right
The roads that I take I shape to my needs
What I reap at the end I sowed with my seeds.
