The Pen

You are not merely a tool,
Who not use thee, is nothing but a fool.

You are mightier than sword, they say,
From darkness, you give a glimpse of a shining way.

You can turn night into the sun,
Is not your father, but only a son.

A weapon of scholar, as gun of a soldier,
We use thee freely without any fear.

Now, I'm a citizen of the world with spiritualization,
Indeed, thou are a source of devotion and inspiration.

I chanced to see at break of day
The solitary child.
