The Person You Become Poem by Nicola Kelly

The Person You Become

The person you become

Age teaches us valuable lessons,
We gain experience and learn,
Its about the person you're now,
Not for the past you yearn.

Over the years you accumulate possessions,
Well as cherished memories to behold,
More important are people in your life,
To accompany you as you grow old.

What you own can be lost,
As looks can come and go,
Its all about the person you've become,
And into the person you'll grow.
