The Photons Are Released Poem by Catherine Casey

The Photons Are Released

The photons are released.
The energy transferred.
Escape the fiery archetype.
From solar wind a word –

‘Be gone o little offsprings
And light the worlds afar.
At the price of casting shadows
Make proud your parent star.

Disperse now fill the universe.
The message radiate:
Give substance to the truth.
The dark to permeate.

Though sad to see you cast
From such conflagration.
Go invest resplendent
In the stoke of ‘magination.

Traverse the breathless void
Projected beams of flotsam.
Melodious the electro-
Magnetic pulse of spectrum.

You may illumine charts
On the walls of an optician.
A partner in the field of view
On what betides a vision.

Not stopping at the retina
But deep inside – the goal.
Resting in the neuron
At service to the soul.

You may become an aura
In the zenith of Australis,
Or a polar Ursa’s backdrop
In the range of Borealis.

Glass and water find at play.
Seek angles to contrive.
Antiphon their index-
Of-refraction one point five.

You may be just the fading beam
Of an evening on the porch.
Finding just in just being so.
A submissive calming torch.

Go ripen crops for harvest
And imbue the atmos’ layer.
Giving life to creatures,
Photosynthesise the air'.

For when you think it over
It never really ends.
Each one a new beginning.
Our universal friends.
