The Pillow Poem by charlotte marie peachey

The Pillow

Rating: 4.5

as you lay there watching me sleep
you close your eyes and start to weep
the thoughts fill your head
that you have no other choise
coz they wanted me dead

you took the pillow and held it tight
as you hold it to my face i awake and try to fight
but you were to strong
and they wanted me dead

im so sorry my love
is all you said
they wanted you dead
they told me to kill you

as my naked body lay
lifeless on the bed
they told you to finish the job
and make sure i was dead

so you took the gun
and held it to my head
as your hands trembled
you pulled the trigger and
spred my blood upon the walls

you took my hands and told me
that you were sorry
that they told you that you had to kill me
and thats what you did you killed the only
person that ever loved you.

so then you desided to be with me
so you lifted the gun to your head and
shot your self so that you were dead
then they couldnt tell you to kill me
the voices in your head that wanted me dead

tragic...a love shattered in seconds..yet he silenced it all with himself as punishment...rather than living with the cursed consequences...he would rather be where you are even if it meant a tragic end for you both...a write filled with agony and decisiveness and an end filled with sadness...
