The Poet Can Paint Masterpiece Canvas Souls Poem by Terence George Craddock

The Poet Can Paint Masterpiece Canvas Souls

the poet is like a weaver weaving words
the poet is like a potter shaping images
the poet is like a sign reader reading souls
the poet is like a sniper sharp shooter nailing bulls eyes
the poet is like an archer hitting knight's visor targets
the poet can hit galloping horses visor target slits
the poet can write pathos tragedy or comedy themes
it has been said a picture is like a thousand words

a picture without words is not a poem
a picture is photography not poetry
a poet can write up pretty pictures
or write up fierce gale storm fronts
a poet can write felt picture images
touching heart soul with mere words
