Oh Lord, like Thy polar star high above
Forever presiding over mother-Earth
Thou also made me
So I will rotate with my safe haven
Over and over again
All my life, gathering experiences
Undergoing all sorts of pleasure and pain
And ponder every now and then
Amidst brief breaks, who am I?
To find me going around in a circle
As if Thou art my axle
And I am a dot on spoke of Thy wheel
Then, one day I boldly broke off the cycle
Merging my whole being into the axle
And felt Thy calming stillness all over me
Realizing my center to be Thee alone
And we are not two
I and you are indeed ONE
Thus learnt how to find my instant freedom
By melting myself into Thy center of bliss
And emerge spontaneously as playful soul
Blissfully glittering as the polar star!
