The Powerful Pacific Ocean Poem by Ray Andrews

The Powerful Pacific Ocean

Rating: 4.0

The ocean waves hello and
Beckons us to mists of wonder
It churns and turns and curls
Roaring out it's thunder

It calls us to witness
Powers beyond our reach
Deeply moving forces
The glory of a soft white beach

From silver black to turquoise blue
A relentless living sea
We look out across the water
To glimpse eternity

Concise but well made. I loved the brevity and the meter is good. Well done.

What a lovely poem Ray, says so much in three short verses. Lovely feeling of the power and noise of the sea, and the coloured hues. Loved it. Love Ernestine XXX
