The Proposal Poem by Harrison Williams

The Proposal

My feelings for you is the pure definition of love
Your wits, humor, and beauty take my breath away
I asked myself the same question and now I look for the answer above
Because I only want to be with you day after day
Just knowing that you're in my life makes me smile
For you I would do the craziest of all things
Like if you were far, to be together I'd walk miles
It is your love that makes my heart sprout wings
Even though when we first met the feelings you had for me was hate
I had convinced your heart to come around
And it was felt on the first date
That our love shall be forever bound
So after hearing all this do you see
This is why I ask, will you marry me
