I have a question
That I'd like to ask
But please know it's alright
If you want to take a pass

I would like to know
If you would marry me
I always picture the two of us
Together, happy as can be

I'd love it if you would
Please become my wife
Together we can walk
Hand and hand through life

So take a few days if you must
Until you decide
If the answer is no
At least I know I tried

But if the answer is yes
Which I hope it will be
Get ready for a lifetime
Of being loved by me
