The Quiver Of Arrows Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

The Quiver Of Arrows

The quiver of arrows,
King of the watery deep to mix up with my muse;
Rose of Eros,
The flower of romance to attract me to your room;
Oh, insatiable and of the incontinence of desire!
But i am now resting at the Nile Delta.

Of the worm-eaten papyrus and the drinking of wine,
The Roman province of England is known to us;
And like leaders in the steps of Nimrod.

I am from among you and,
You are from among us;
But like Nebros and Nebrod with,
Nimrod and Babylon in mind!

In the land of Shinar,
And like the Egyptian Kings!
But i still have to learn to come closer to you,
For the quiver of arrows are seen all around us today.
