The rain came today
what it brought
was monumental,
it has touched the soil, dry and cracked before; No more.
I could feel and hear
its sigh, and overwhelming joy echoed
from the core of The Mather.
Every precious grain so nourished now
this moment so profound,
the waiting so long.
It has come,
peals from the Universe
came to settle on her womb,
new birth will take place
and her children will grow.
The Rain has come today!
Beautiful, very descriptive - you may like to read mine entitled After The Rain.
that is good and it gives a courage like it
