The Rain Poem by Kasia Fedyk

The Rain

Rating: 2.1

The rain came today
what it brought
was monumental,
it has touched the soil, dry and cracked before; No more.

I could feel and hear
its sigh, and overwhelming joy echoed
from the core of The Mather.
Every precious grain so nourished now
this moment so profound,
the waiting so long.

It has come,
peals from the Universe
came to settle on her womb,
new birth will take place
and her children will grow.
The Rain has come today!

A beautiful appreciation of rain. The personification of the soil create this vivid image of joy and happiness.

Let it rain, let life blaze. Witty metaphors. I love it.
