The Perfect Moment Poem by Kasia Fedyk

The Perfect Moment

Rating: 3.2

On a crossroad
by the shimmering light
between soul, mind and heart street
-in the middle of nowhere
love walked by

Her hands were small
her fingers long
her face shaped like an opal
with a crocked smile
that did more than just accent
her olive skin

Her eyes flickered
in the light
color, I can't hardly describe
somewhere between jade mixed with topaz
with a glimpse of pearls
and a touch of amber from the Baltic sea

Her dress like one huge snowflake
covered her thin frame
her hair was shade of gold
with red fire dancing on the ends

For a moment I thought I have lost my mind
(who am I kidding)
something else I noticed
She was holding my heart
