The Rain Poem by Rose Eisenhower

The Rain

As the rain falls,
I stand with it.
And we look at each other wetly,
and laugh,
and we are both happy.
And as the umbrellas shuff up
in a sea-of-non-water,
around me and my rain,
I smile.
and the rain falls
and we are both happy.
