The Reaper Poem by Roxanna Ackerman

The Reaper

Rating: 5.0

I am the one they all try to forget
They say I'm too dark,
I know they're correct.
As their people die,
Their souls, I collect
I laugh at their pain
As they try to forget!

While each person sleeps,
I hide in their heads,
I lurk in their dreams,
Just waiting...
And watching...
You know, I'm planing their deaths!

For I am the one
Who lurks in the night
Cursing their dreams
and causing all fright.
I sitting in the shadows
Waiting,
Just waiting...
For their screams
That happen that night.

I am The Reaper
